Dear CLEAR members:

I took a walk on the lake trail today and it warmed my heart to see so much activity at the Cheat Lake Park and Trail on this beautiful Fathers Day. I counted 30+ boats parked in the Rubles Run backwater area adjoining the park. 7-8 boats were rafted together. Evidently this is the new boat party hot spot There was also a group of WVU students with about a dozen canoes and kayaks on the bank....an organized WVU outing.

Many people were out on the trail as well, often with dogs just like myself and my girlfriends.

What I saw made me very proud of CLEAR. All we need now is a swimming beach. Maybe a pavillion or two such as the ones at Coopers Rock. Peace all, Deb
